Dr. Jinyuan Su
Dr. Jinyuan Su is Professor of International Law at Institute of International Law, Wuhan University, China. Before joining Wuhan University in 2019, he was with Xi’an Jiaotong University School of Law, where he obtained his PhD in 2011. Dr. Su was Erin J.C. Arsenault Fellow (2014-2015) at the McGill Institute of Air and Space Law, a visiting research fellow (2009-2010) at the Lauterpacht Centre for International Law, University of Cambridge, and a visiting scholar (2008-2009) at School of Law, King’s College London. His research interests lie in outer space law, the law of the sea, and international aviation law. His research on space law and space policy was published in international refereed journals such as International & Comparative Law Quarterly, Asian Journal of International Law, Journal of Space Law, and Space Policy. Dr. Su served as a member of Governance Group of the Space Security Index (SSI), and a member (2016-2018) of the Global Future Council on Space Technologies of the World Economic Forum (WEF). He was a lead drafter for the McGill project of Global Space Governance (GSG), and is a core expert in the project of Manual of International Law Applicable to Military Uses of Outer Space (MILAMOS).
