Yoav Landsman
Yoav Landsman is a visionary space entrepreneur, and a seasoned space engineer with 20 years of hands-on experience in the Israeli space industry. He holds a BSc in aerospace engineering and an MSc in planetary sciences from the Technion and from Tel-Aviv University, respectively.
His last engineering full-time job was at SpaceIL, where he was the senior systems engineer and the deputy mission director of the Beresheet lunar lander, the first privately funded lunar mission.
Yoav is also passionate about public outreach and education. He became a sought-after lecturer and interviewee for science, technology, spaceflights, science fiction, and everything that involves space.
Yoav is an alumnus of the International Space University (ISU) Space Studies Program, where he studied in the business and management department.
Yoav is a Karman Fellow for the year 2020, selected for his outstanding achievements in space, and considered a leader who is shaping the future of space.
Since the end of the Beresheet mission, Yoav has become a space entrepreneur. He recently moved to Luxembourg to found Moonscape, a lunar remote-sensing startup company.
